๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐€๐ฌ๐ข๐š ๐‹๐ฒ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ is the founder and lead designer at ๐‹๐ฒ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  (๐‹๐„๐‚) ๐‹๐‹๐‚. In partnership with communities, organizations, and schools, Lyons Educational Consulting supports co-creating truly inclusive environments that assist Black educators toward self-actualization through wellness spaces.

Dr. Lyons is a seasoned educator with a strong dedication to tackling crucial issues within the educational sphere. Having served as both a K-12 educator and an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado – Denver, she brings a blend of practical experience and scholarly insight to her work. Dr. Lyons specializes in Leadership for Educational Equity, with a particular focus on the impact of racism-related stress on Black educators and their families. As a co-founder of the Black Educator Wellness Cohort, she organizes free wellness sessions and advocates for the well-being of Black educators. Dr. Lyons has shared her expertise at prestigious platforms and serves as a co-host of The Exit Interview: A Podcast for Black Educators, which aims to amplify the voices of former Black educators and address the challenges of retention within the education sector.
